Once Upon a FAT Time by OmerLosing weight was never in my mind.. people use to call me fat etc, but it never bothered me. Being 92KG (202 pounds/14 Stones) back in 2012, I woke up one day and looked at myself and realised that I had to change or the way I was going, It would have gotten harder for me to lose weight as I grew older. Starting Dec 2012, till April 2013 I had lost around 31kg (61kg/134 pounds/9 Stones) .. how did I do it? through MOTIVATION and DEDICATION. I cut the junk, snacks and made my food portion smaller and obviously exercised regularly! (AND no I did not take any weight loss shakes or medicines to help me!!) It was hard at first, but I kept at it, and its amazing how time flew during my weight loss process. Its amazing how I was a size 38 waist now I am a 28 and XL shirt is now a S shirt size! .. another thing which is crazy is how the people who use to call me FAT, I am now skinner than them and those same people are now asking me on how they can lose weight.. this shows that YOU have MADE IT! and makes you even more proud and motivated till now!! As a trainee pilot, being an overweight pilot and not be able to sit in a cockpit could have gotten my pilot medical license revoked the way I was going! .. which got me upset that I had to lose weight and had to be quick. Remember its all a mental thing, keep at it, be motivated, and you can DO IT! This was a little story about me being motivated and how I lost the weigh because I had the willpower to do it.. whoever is reading this, remember a dream doesn’t become a reality through magic; It takes sweat, determination and hard-work.. so keep it up, ANYTHING is POSSIBLE! =)
